Serving V. Non-Serving - Your Choice

Proactive service is clearly the pattern of the Father, the example of Jesus and the character of the Spirit (the Helper). Even so, it’s easy for followers of Christ to lose that God-centered vision and embrace feelings of entitlement. We see evidence of this in the New Testament, and we see ample evidence of it in our own lives. This morning we want to look at our choice to serve and the common reasons why we neglect it. I offer these so that we can notice them and confront them in our lives. We start with an exploration of our basic choice to either serve or not.
